Tennis, cricket, now motor racing. Just another day in Casemore's World of Sport..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Ah, they all know him though. I'd imagine they quite missed him after they got rid of him last time.
Byrne coming back is more of an indictment of F1 than a positive. Where is the new design talent coming through? These are all old men in the top jobs, ffs. Newey was young once - nobody seems willing to take a gamble on a new designer.

That's what they want it seems, two equal drivers both capable of wins and regular podium finishes. At least with that they can win the constructors even if the driver title eludes them.
They'll probably have the best driver line up next year but in typical recent Ferrari fashion they'll **** it up by giving them a **** car.
As for designers, I'm sure there are some great ones out there but it's such a high stakes sport nobody is willing to take a chance. Strange none of the smaller teams do though, they all use up the cast offs from the bigger teams.Last edited by G; 10-09-13, 11:23 PM.
