Tennis, cricket, now motor racing. Just another day in Casemore's World of Sport.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

He was due one I guess, could do with it raining and heavily or a safety car as otherwise its a cruise for Vettel

Quite unlike-able, but the race wins and performances keep coming. Vettel's into all time great status, really.

              Same here.

Schumacher had you on the edge of your seat whereas Vettle is a bore who happens to have the best car.

Schumacher had the best car for years on end! Not only that, he had tyres designed by Bridgestone to fit his driving style.

I'd rather watch Vettel than a Schumacher procession any day.

I know I shouldn't like it but I loved it when he tried the odd nasty move

Wouldn't it be great if we could put all the greats past and present in the same car, same set up etc and just see who was the best

Some line up at Ferrari next season.Didn't know they had Rory Byrne working on the new car too.Should be interesting to see how that goes.

Be a bit different for Rob Smedley going from affable Massa to ice cold Kimi!

Ah, they all know him though. I'd imagine they quite missed him after they got rid of him last time.

Byrne coming back is more of an indictment of F1 than a positive. Where is the new design talent coming through? These are all old men in the top jobs, ffs. Newey was young once - nobody seems willing to take a gamble on a new designer.

He's untouchable is Newey,it does seem like a panic stations move. The Ferrari tech department is getting more bloated than the Mercedes management team and yet still nobody can touch him and his notepad!

Newey was in his early 30's when he designed the Mansell Williams, one of the best F1 cars ever made.

There must be someone out there just not getting his break...

So how does that work at Ferrari?

Can't see either of them taking team orders or being a number 2.

That's what they want it seems, two equal drivers both capable of wins and regular podium finishes. At least with that they can win the constructors even if the driver title eludes them.

They'll probably have the best driver line up next year but in typical recent Ferrari fashion they'll **** it up by giving them a **** car.

As for designers, I'm sure there are some great ones out there but it's such a high stakes sport nobody is willing to take a chance. Strange none of the smaller teams do though, they all use up the cast offs from the bigger teams.
