And also, this flag waving **** is propagated by F1 - its always been done. The drivers supposedly race for their nations and tradition has dictated that there is a pathetic show of nationalism before and after every race. There's a national anthem in honour of the host race, national anthem for the manufacturer and one for the driver. Its the first time he's flown a flag since he won it last time in 2008, he doesn't wear a flag on his helmet either.
Did you get as annoyed by Coulthard, the Monaco resident, wearing the scottish saltire on his helmet every ****ing race he drove? I doubt it.

I couldn't give a **** about tax exile bollocks when the government will quite gladly ignore the likes of the Vodafone billions - its pretty much inconsequential to a country's income. He'll generate more in merchandising and VAT just from his name and swishing that flag about than any taxable income, you sour faced dickhead!Leave a comment:

Bull****. He's a tax exile and people like him are scum IMO. Where would this country be if everyone just said ah, **** it, I'm not going to contribute? If you think he left this country because of the media then you are talking utter ****e. It was greed, pure and simple greed. So he moved out of the country, so ****ing what? His dad was from Grenada and the team he drives from is a UK based German brand. The fact he was hounded by the british media had as much to do with his decision to move out of the UK as much as anything else.
The country he's from didn't afford him his opportunity, McLaren gave him his break. They've afforded opportunity to talent regardless of their nationality. You're talking utter ****.Leave a comment:

Well, we'll agree to disagree on the first part, because I believe that motorsport is far more accessible in this country than many others, but the main point we agreeNot really. You said his country gave him the opportunity to become the best. It didn't. It's just where he's from. I agree with your sentiment though. I hate U2 cos they all ****ed off and that dickhead goes around preaching to our government about helping out poor countries.

I'm sure his talent and his family had more to do with his success then his place of birth. It really grates me to see tax exiles like Lewis waving the flag at times like this. The first sign of success and he pissed off to Monaco and now not a single penny of his very well paid job goes into the health service or education for the very country who gave him the opportunity to be where he is now.
He'll be held aloft in the media tomorrow as a Great British hero. ******.Leave a comment:

I had to record it, my son was playing a match today (thumped 6-0..) so came back and made sure I didn't have a phone near me and no internet on.
I had a call to make - record Liverpool or F1. F1 won every time. Liverpool are ****ing rubbish!Leave a comment:

Had this on the tv with the footy on the iPad.
Great result from Lewis and so deserved as well.Leave a comment:

Brilliant. Loved that. Anything other than a Lewis championship win would have been disastrous for F1 as a sport though. The double points **** could have ruined the sport for a long time.
Lewis - fantastic.Leave a comment:

****ing brilliant. Some story, a proper father son tale - someone who hasn't been on the end of privilege to get where he is. Fantastic.
