Merc still a massive 1.7 seconds ahead of the field at the final race really shows how big a job everyone else has on their hands for next season. Usually the gap closes over a season. Not this year!

Poor buggers never a good time for that sort of thing to happen but a month or so out from Xmas is pretty rotten.

Appears they may have requested it (not that it makes it any better in the big picture).
