I really, really hope one of the Mercs can win this title, preferably Lewis. Tired of Red bull domination.

I've always said if you give Alonso and Hamilton the same level of equipment as the Redbulls they'll out score Vettel.

It's starting to look like there are going to be cars getting up and challenging the RBs which is great news for F1

BBC gave the pole to Paul and he ended up 5th - still a great result for him. He's bucked his ideas up since missing out on the big drives last season. Hope he gets Ferrari for next.

He's a good driver, think its helped having Sutil there pushing him along as well.

Going to be tough for Hamilton to get away from Vettel tomorrow but hopefully he'll give it a good go.

Vettel must be due some bad luck or Grosjean driving into the back of him

Di Resta said it was a brave call by himself to stay out when his pitwall wanted him to pit.

The team said they made the call! Bit of friction there I think after the troubles earlier this season,he didn't want to give the team any credit afterwards the way he worded his interview

It was a strange interview wasn't it.

I fully expect him to be looking for a new seat next season.

Yeah it was, very disingenuous toward the team I thought.

He's in danger of coming across as having a higher opinion of himself than he's so far proved he's worth.

He's a decent driver but there are a lot better drivers out there who'll be looking at spaces at red bull and Ferrari who I'd imagine is who'd he'd like to get a drive with next season.

Best thing he can do is get his head down and drive.

Vettel is flying today, that car looks seriously quick, passing the Mercedes and McLarens with ease

The Red Bull was mighty today and left the race as a bit of a procession, really needed some rain to fall to make it interesting sadly. Fair play to Newey yet again for pushing that car further forwards yet again.

I'd love to see Vettel, Alonso and Hamilton in the same car for a season

If Ferrari could stop messing up in qualifying they might make a fight of this championship. Virtually handing it to Red Bull on a plate.

Yup, their qualifying has been pretty poor hasn't it. Great drive from Alonso today but when you're starting from 9th it's going to be almost impossible to get ahead of both Mercs & Red Bulls.

Rain or a safety car was what was needed for both Ferrari and the Mercs.

Alonso's body language reeks of dissatisfaction - Ferrari are guilty of wasting the biggest talent since Senna. He should have more titles than his Renault wins by now.
