A vindication for all day/evening drinking. The title refers to a popular expression used to justify drinking at any time of day, given that somewhere in the world it's 5:00 p.m. (an acceptable time to start drinking). The narrator states that he hasn't had a day off in over a year and that he wants to leave work and consume alcohol. The lyrics include the phrase, "It's only half-past twelve but I don't care. It's five o'clock somewhere", which means that even though it is not five o'clock in the narrator's time zone, it must be in another part of the world.Last edited by Chazza; 12-08-13, 08:39 PM.

Australia careers on the line, says coach Darren Lehmann
Coach Darren Lehmann has criticised Australia's faltering batsmen and said their careers are on the line after losing the Ashes series in England.
The tourists, chasing a victory target of 299, crumbled from 109-0 to 224 all out as they lost the fourth Test to go 3-0 down in the best-of-five series.
Asked if careers were in jeopardy, Lehmann said: "Yep, there's nothing wrong with that.
"The blokes have to learn. If they don't, we'll find blokes that will."
Lehmann replaced Mickey Arthur just 16 days before the Ashes series got under way, but he has failed to engineer a turnaround in the side's form following the 4-0 Test series defeat in India earlier this year.
Australia lost the first two Tests of this series but had a chance of reducing the deficit in Durham when Chris Rogers and David Warner put on a century opening partnership in their second innings to give them hope of reaching the 299 victory target.
But Usman Khawaja, Michael Clarke, Steven Smith, Shane Watson and Brad Haddin mustered just 50 runs between them as Australia capitulated.
England now hold an unassailable 3-0 lead heading to the fifth and final Test, which starts at The Oval on Wednesday, 21 August.
Australia's misfiring batting line-up has only passed 300 once in eight innings during the Ashes series.
Watson, Khawaja, Smith, Ed Cowan and Phil Hughes have all struggled for runs during the series and Lehmann appears to be losing patience.
"To play for Australia, you've got to perform at a level that is acceptable for everyone in our team and also for the Australian public and the media," he said.
"At the moment, we're not doing that, so blokes have got to perform at a level we expect.
"We've lost clumps of wickets which have really hurt us.
"Blokes are missing straight ones, that doesn't help.
"We have to learn from our mistakes. We didn't learn from probably [the first Test at] Trent Bridge when we got bowled out in similar circumstances, so, from our point of view, the blokes have got to learn.
"Some of the shot selection was poor. One for 150 I thought we'd get them comfortably two or three down, hopefully one down.
"That really hurts, that one. They bowled well, we batted really badly in the middle order, lower order.
"I thought Warner got a good ball to be fair, Clarke got a ripper and Rogers probably got a decent ball. The rest should have played a lot straighter and they know that."
Clarke and Rogers are the only specialist Australian batsman to score centuries in 2013 and Lehmann said only those two were probably "guaranteed" their place in the team.

Can't believe that collapse. I hope Boof was kicking peoples teeth in after that. Watson, Clarke, Khawaja, Smith. ******s the lot of them.
The bowlers did themselves proud. We have some really good quicks in the ranks, but our batsmen are a disgrace. Clarke and Rogers are the only ones that can even remotely hold their heads up...Clarke getting by on rep only."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

Well, Clarke's big hundred too. He's class but when he's practically the only one and blokes are crumbling all around him, he has an almost impossible job.Originally posted by Harv View PostCan't believe that collapse. Plus he keeps getting absolute jaffas to clean him up.

Big time. His retirement amazed me at the time.Originally posted by Chazza View PostHughes and Cowan are also way off what is required.
Losing Hussey has left a massive hole in the middle order.
Yeah Hughes and Cowan aren't good enough. Problem for them is they obviously don't have much in the way of young talent. Also they need more older heads and they're just not around. I honestly think the likes of Ponting and Langer (he's about 42
) would do far better jobs than this shower.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
