Ah ok, thanks guys, makes sense, although I wouldn't have thought there'd be too much pressure say batting number 7 or 8.

He'd get branded as the kid who is half decent with the bat if he bats at 7 or 8.

The idea in general is that at 10 or 11 the expectations are set low and he can get on with it without much pressure.
