      So proving Aj's point.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Something that Trott would have been proud of

Good to see we dug in at the end though, this test is far from over

Watched it last night. What a brilliant innings. He only lost his cool when Sharma nearly got himself run out twice

The guy backs himself every, single time. Hugely talented batsman and captain. Never known anyone as cool as him in such a pressure situation in a game. Won the T20 World Cup, 50 over World Cup, Champions Trophy and taken team to No.1 in Tests. Will go down as the best India Captain ever

Yeah they did. But think that was a turning point for us. A few of the old guard have left/retired and young guys now coming through. Plus England are a much better Test side than we are. Absolutely hammered us

We need runs, but are in no rush to get them.

We've got every chance of winning this match still, just need to be patient today and try avoid giving away any cheap wickets.

A morning session of Cook and KP would go down nicely. Need to put some runs on the board and set a decent total.

I know we need to get in again this morning, but I hope KP puts his foot down. The Aussies don't fear him when he's batting like this - free himself up and start scoring. They'll panic.

Both the Trott decision and the call to give Agar not out when he was clearly out could cost us the match. A disgrace really. Agar was about 10 not out at the time. Made a massive difference and while it was close, he was out. Inexplicable decisions.

                            Working from home

I think the cricket is going to be taking most of my attention for today!

Vaughan was just on the news saying that he thinks KP will attack from the off this morning to set a marker for the rest of the series.

Needs to watch Agar though with his left arm spinner issues.

Hope he's right. Want him to rub their noses in it.
