Just went to have a bet. It dawned on me that it is a total waste of time and money. It's good to have someone to get behind but golf is the hardest sport to bet on and pick a winner at the outset. I could back about 20 players and still be nowhere near. Just now I had on my betting slip Bill Haas, Kuchar, Poulter, Donald, Jason Day, Molinari...then thought **** this!

The first time I ever bet on golf I backed Lee Janzen to win the US Open. He'd just stormed the warm up tournament and I think I got 80/1. I had Payne Stewart e/w too and he came a close second. Think his odds were pretty short, around 20/1

you should have seen the state of him in the pub - game was end to end

i just couldn't justify sticking £100 on a bet - in fact don't think he can....

it came in and he got back i think £350 total.

No there i'd stop....he however put the whole lot on barca to beat to PSG - would have took him to about £600 or so i can't remember.
