My Dad (ex pro shop pro) always tells me to slow my swing down...then steps up and lashes it 320 yards with a 100mph swing

What handicap does/has your father played off?

Had a few similar comments about my swing. One guy I played with said, I see you like Freddy Couples. I replied yes these Ecco shoes he wears are great. He replies I was talking about your swing I was well chuffed

Just looks like a little old bloke plodding along the course. Gets to his ball little short quick set up, simple swoosh, nothing to it...and the ball ****ing sails off like a rocket

A mate who doesn't know much about golf was almost laughing at choi before he hit the ball. He just didn't expect that he'd ****ing nail it

What handicap does/has your father played off?

Scratch/1 for years....dropped to 2 in his 40s. He's now started to tumble...60 next and he's playing off 6. Used to play every day but hardly plays now. Played once last year which is the least he's ever played since taking it up.

He hits the driver miles...regularly won longest hitter at county events. When he goes conservative he creams a 1 iron off the tea ffs.

I caddied for him at the British over 35 amateur comp in the mid 90s, we played in the group behind Jimmy Tarbuck
