There was a lot of stopping and starting - on numerous occasions my current partner would leave or be away for several weeks and I'd have to start with someone else interested in learning from the beginning. These lessons were at the same time as the health-based sessions.

I don't find it hard to fit in - I always try at least 30-45 mins each week night (when no classes on obviously).
Thanks, I appreciate your insight on that .

I think I'm going to have to do morning sessions as I get back at irregular times from work and getting my drink on can mess up the best made evening plans. I'm actually doing a second class now on the Wednesday night where they go into more detail on various things and I'm starting Qi Gong on Monday nights to get my chi flowing a bit more. I'm just under half way through the short form now, up to Mount the Horse, but it's a bit less like Jet Li and a bit more like Robocop at the moment. I'm really enjoying it, it's a lot of fun. And the other people are not po-faced like they can be at things like yoga.

You kept it going Mr V ?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I still do it as often as I can mate. At least once a day if possible, a run through the short form and some qi gong. I don't do the classes any more as I moved and it's a fair schlep away but I finished the short form and I have plenty of stuff to practice!

I see an old Asian guy near my home doing it on his own most mornings & feel like joining him despite never doing it before.

I'd definitely recommend it! The old qi gong is a lovely way to start the day, and the visualisations are fantastic. For the short form I do the 24 step Yang style, but I play my own music (not Dethscalator, but not this Chinese hobbit music either). Looks like this:

How’s an old ******* like me supposed to remember all that? I’m lucky if I remember where the old guy goes every morning lol

If you're like me, with some difficulty to start with .

After it bit it all seems to make sense though, each move naturally follows the other.
