Yeah, for this fight I agree, he deserves some credit.
But outside of the ring, the only talk you will ever hear from Mayweather is about his unbeaten record, being the best pound for pound etc, he will have some chimp calling out all other boxers names and saying, beaten by such and such. He really wants to hang his gloves up and say look what i done, and well before time. Maybe its for his own health, I dont know, but for someone just at their prime, its very premature to be talking about retirement.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Disagree Bazza. If the match was made at the right weight - Hatton would give mayweather all the trouble he could handle - and all the heart that goes with it - for the full 12 rounds. 'Pretty Boy' fights in bursts - and mayweather would do enough inbetween to out point him - which is what he'll do.
        Liverpool born and bred.

just see de La Hoya as a much bigger, stonger more experienced opponent.
