He's doing it on purpose. It's working, Wawrinka looks unsettled playing an "injured" player.Originally posted by rcasemore View PostYup, dollying his serve in.
You believe whatever you like but it's clear to most he's not fit and struggling.
The crowd booed him, he's not going to pretend that he's 100% all of a sudden and launch serves in. He'll make a gradual recovery and claim it's the painkillers.

Why would he feign injury and get himself 2 set down - likes a bit of drama?Originally posted by JohnDoe View PostHe's doing it on purpose. It's working, Wawrinka looks unsettled playing an "injured" player.

He doesn't like to give up, so uses all the tricks in the book to win. Also, he thrives on adversity. It's up to his adversary to overcome that kind of distraction.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostMust admit that during an inordinately high percentage of Nadal's defeats he has the trainer on. It's as if he's never lost a game when he's fit. Almost every time he loses, which isn't often, he picks up an "injury".Are we winning?

Exactly. And please remind me if there was ever a time Nadal got injured while he was WINNING.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostMust admit that during an inordinately high percentage of Nadal's defeats he has the trainer on. Strange to me that his body breaks down only when he starts to lose, I'd like to understand the science behind this.
