I'll say this, Murray will need Llendal more than Llendl needs Murray.

A serious concern this has happened yet again

I didn't realise, but Llendal didn't travel to most tournaments with Muzza (just the big ones) so maybe it won't have such a big impact.

I don't think Murray ahd much choice in it, Lendl's doing by all accounts he is playing a lot in the states at the moment adn wants to concentrate more on golf to!

Murray is at an interesting point in his career.

He has basically achieved his 2 main career goals, in 1 winning a slam, and 2 in winning Wimbledon. He looks to be struggling a bit for form and direction since Wimbledon which has been exacerbated since his operation. One thing, he hasn't made a bad move yet in appointing a coach and seems to know exactlly what is needed and what needs to change at each point in his career, he seems very self aware... I hope he finds someone to help in his next target, which is basically consolidating his position in Tennis, and to do that he needs to win a few more Slams.

There are a few names being banded about, Mats Wilander the most intriguing. I suspect Murray may need someone more hands on than Lendl was right now, but the real key, is going to be in him finding someone who 'gets' him as a person as well as a player, and Lendl seemed the perfect match in that sense.

I don't think this was Murray's idea.

Yep it was Lendl's doing but a mutual split. Lendl hates life on the tour and actually toured as little as possible. He also wants to play more seniors events and more golf! Can't really blame him.

I worry that he might have already peaked. Not saying that he isn't capable of stunning highs again, I just worry that the severity of the injury might see a gradual decline in the consistency we have seen him perfomr at the last two years.
