Slaughtered - that said Murray should be happy enough with his tournament, and he looked done today. Nadal didn't miss a thing today.

Nadal was superb, but Murray looked bereft of ideas. I've never seen Murray play so limply. I just made that word up. He just bent over and took it. Rafa's second serve is snail-like and Murray didn't step in enough as he did in earlier matches. His first serve was utterly, inexcusably, useless. And, he made waaaaay too many unforced errors.

Rafa was brilliant, but Murray was crap. I thought his head had mended. Come back Lendl.

We've had this before - he can only legitimately claim that title if and when he surpasses Federer. He's the greatest clay court player ever, but his record elsewhere is pretty average in the context of all time greats. 1 Aussie Open, 2 Wimbledons and 2 US Opens.

Have to say that yesterdays women's final was one of the best games I've seen in ages. The momentum kept swinging one way then the other, they were really going for it. Gutsy stuff from both.

I hope nadal wipes the floor with gimp face.
