Some karrimor ones. I turned up hungover and bought some without doing any research. Having looked online i've realised these may not be very good Think what i'll do is just wear them for tough mudder, if they get completely mangled ill do a bit of research and treat myself to a really good pair. Any you could recommend dude?

Just gone on Running World's shoe finder and it's asking all sorts of **** like are you a biomechanically efficient runner, do i heel strike or forefoot strike. How the **** do i know?!

Look at the bottom of your old shoes. If the heels are worn you're a heel striker. If the middle or front is worn you strike forefront.

I'm coming the view that all this pronation lark is bollocks and neutral is the only way to go. Nike Pegasus are ace
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Anyone do ParkRun? Just signed up to go this saturday, some good times there so should be fun running with some others for a change!

Chin up. You'll be back and motoring in no time.

I've got a whopping blister from walking on Saturday, might try a run tonight but not sure how that angry bit of skin is going to react.

Another run before work. Going to try and do more of these 5-6km runs before work, aiming for around 20km a week. Then see how I feel at the end of the month.

I also need to lose some weight, I'm carrying about 4kg more than I was a few months ago, which is frightening really as I'm really not sure what I've done to put on the weight!

Anyway, I'm on the road to sorting it out now.

Oh and I'm now past the 500km mark for the year:
