I've screenshot a treadmill run from last week. There's so much more data available - lactate threshold, vo2 max, race predictor etc. and all can be set and viewed without the need for Garmin Connect. I'm not sure how many workouts can be stored but I've got about a dozen or so on mine so far. You can delete them but not sure if they're deleted from G Connect when sync
Thanks for your responses Norbs. After giving it some though and looking at the reviews and prices for newer GPS watches I think I'll keep my Forerunner 205 for another few years unless it breaks.

You may already have seen this but other people should find it useful - there's a site called DC Rainmaker that reviews lots of popular GPS watches from different manufacturers, he has a comparison tool (http://www.dcrainmaker.com/product-c...son-calculator) allowing all the features for different watches can be compared.

20 minutes non stop tonight. Which is probably the longest I have run without stopping for 18 months. Rather than being happy I did it, I am just embarrassed I have let myself slip to this. More motivation though.

Now at the part of the plan that is just running without breaks and walking. So from here on it actually feels like ill be making progress. Enjoying it, but they have closed off a path that I use to get to the river that I run along. So its been a bit annoying trying to find a new route I can run with the dog.

          3 x Sets

          5 x Olympic Lifts
          21 x Deadlifts
          15 x Pull Ups
          9 x Front Barbell Squats

My muscles ache like **** but I'm quaffing banana and kale smoothie post workout and eating 200g of steamed chicken and rice for dinner.

I actually feel a little stronger today!

Pabs sees this he'll have a fit. He thought people with backpacks were showing off.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He said people running with backpack got on his norbs. You doing a full weights session while running, will surely piss him off.

(Obviously i know you didn't, was a **** joke because you posted that in the running thread)

                  Haha oh yeah that's right!

Crossfit does involve exercises with a weights vest.

25 minutes straight running last night. Getting better all the time. My fitness is improving and my stomach is slowly getting smaller

Going out again tonight, the dog seems to be loving it too. Just jogs along side me looking up every few strides

That's good Alex, keep it up!

I haven't ran in a few weeks (been in the gym 5 times a week instead), but I'm going to try and run a 10km on my lunch hour today. It's going to hurt!

Think im going to look into new trainers soon. One of my ankles starts to ache about 20 minutes into the run. Im pretty sure its because of little support on my foot. So ill see how that goes.

I'm on week 3 of the couch to 5k bitches

Doing it with my wife and 10 year old who has finally had his asthmatic condition correctly diagnosed and treated.
He'd never have been able to do this a month ago and is loving it.

Keep on at it! It gets a little trickey around week 5/6. But break its back and crush it

I think the challenge after finishing it is actually sticking at it. Need to keep the motivation going.
