Thanjk you.

Running bug had an article about them last week. Interesting stuff. How did you work the fit out? Did you have to do all the measurements or did you just have a guess?
They look rather St Trinnians. Definitely credibility killers
And good luck with the Belfast half. What's it like? Big crowds to break through or a clear rub?
I went out and played 20/18s last night and my legs just died on the way back in.
My missus got them for me, she is a physio but I think it was nothing more than just small medium or large. I'll ask her later and post back.
Mine are a snazzy black so they look ok. Anyway after going out occasionally in my vibram 5 fingers for some barefoot running in the park you can get away with running in anything.
This is the first Belfast Half. I have done the marathon there and the crowd support was great but this goes along the tow path next to the Lagan river for a fair bit so crowds at a minumum I would say. there are 4000 runners which is a pretty big field might have to do a fair bit of weaving through early on.
Following the recent deaths of young people after they have taken the ‘fat burning’ substance 2,4-dinitrophenol, known as DNP, the Food Standards Agency is urgently warning the public not to take any tablets or powders containing this ingredient.
DNP is an industrial chemical. It is not fit for human consumption.
However, 'fat-burner' capsules, tablets and powders containing DNP appear to be marketed at the body-building community, and those wishing to lose weight, as a quick way of burning fat.
When consumed, DNP can be extremely dangerous to human health, possibly leading to coma and death. Signs of acute poisoning can include nausea, vomiting, restlessness, flushed skin, sweating, dizziness, headaches, rapid respiration and irregular heartbeat. Consuming lower amounts over longer periods could lead to cataracts and skin lesions and impact on the heart, blood and nervous system.
Anyone who believes they may have taken DNP should seek medical advice immediately.
The FSA is taking action both to crack down on the illegal sale of DNP and to raise awareness of the dangers of its use. In particular:
the Agency is working with the police and local authorities to stamp out the illegal sale of DNP to consumers, focusing on stopping internet sales
we are reminding companies, including internet traders, of the criminal sanctions available to the courts to deal with any person or company found to be supplying DNP products for consumption
I'm now on to start of week 5 of my routine and I've lost 2lb's
You might think...Jesus subby change that routine if you're only lost 2lb's in 4 weeks but I've lost 2 inches from my gut and gained an inch on my chest. No cardio workout, just weights.
Strength has really gone up a load since I started. E.G....one of my exercises is deadlifts : I started at 65kg and now I'm up to 90KG doing 8 reps three times. Arms have started to appear better with my general physique growing well. Hence my weight transfer from fat to muscle and so my weight hasn't really changed much
Another 8 weeks to go in this programme I'm on
Gut reducing and overall feeling better about myself. Hoping, after week 12 I'll be in a bette rmore ripped position. At this stage it is more putting on muscle mass and on week 9 I'll be lowering the weights and increasing reps to get the muscle definition looking better
Never thought I'd see the day when I'd be ripped but it's coming...just in time for a christmas food fest
I'll put up a before and after shot as I've been photographing my progress but I'm not putting up anythin gjust yet to be mocked
Not really changed the diet, just at less of the bad stuff like sweets, cake, general munchie food
Eating a lot more protein via more chicken, nuts, veg and drinking loads of water to make me feel more "full up" when eating...so I dont' eat more.
Weight is balancing well during the fat-to-muscle side of this. I'd say in another 8 weeks I'll be looking well on the way to what I want to look like and hopefully the new wife will want to jump me more often too
Just purchased my first sports hoodie. Twenty minute walk to the shop this evening and a further 35 minute walk back when my 'short cut' went wrong. I'll be match fit in no time.
