Did 5 miles last night in my Nikes.
God they're so much better to run in than the bloody Brooks. Started to feel my Achilles towards the end and I can feel it still this morning but it hasn't worsened so I'm fairly hopefully that I can go for a shorter run tomorrow night and hopefully the parkrun on Saturday morning. That's the aim any how.
Who runs to music? Weirdly (or perhaps not) it totally depends on my mood, I'm about 50/50 in taking the iPod and not.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

I have a nokia lumia 920 which I take with me on every run and I use it with the addidas miicoach app which tracks everything for me. since starting with it in December it has tracked 40 miles, unfortunately I cant use it in the gym though.Originally posted by Rich View PostWho runs to music? I used to use endomondo but now I prefer the addidas app. Im training for a half marathon and you can add a training plan, it gives me some really good stats and some very good feedback during the run.
I also listen to a lot of dance music whilst I run. I have never really been a massive fan of the genre, more of an indie kid, but since taking up running (following a bad break up) I have got into it. I find it helps me run, when a song comes on I enjoy it gives me a burst!
everyone is different though, one of my friends listens to Eminem due to the beat. I tried running to indie music but found it difficult to hit my stride.Polymetal Allooyy

Eminem - Lose Yourself is a great running track, as is the Training Montage music from Rocky IV...

Pablo: 9.35 miles
Rich: 8.4 miles
Norbs: 4.5 miles
Let me know if I've missed any runs out.
Good work Rich. When I run on my own I almost always listen to music, when I run with others I never do, obviously. I just need some distraction so conversation with others or a bit of music distracts me from the pain.
I think I'll be back out tomorrow, almost over this heavy cold now.

Downloaded that a few evenings ago. I'd be up for joining a group.Originally posted by Alex View PostMe and Fake are on Endomondo. You can set up clubs and groups on it. Be good to get an est group to see progress on that.
