I need another 7.18 miles chucked on mine (should have been more but my garmin dropped the satellite signal so that's what it clicked. 7:31 minute miles for those racing.

      Think that's about 11.5km

I'm looking for a quality (low calorie) post-workout supplement, or even a night time one. Any suggestions please?

Robo, what is your eating plan like? Howuch protein do you have per day?

TBH I just eat well and lots of protein. I don't limit carbs like some & I don't have protein shakes cos they make me fart like an incontinent elephant. I have an extra meal on training days- one before & one after the gym.

I don't really each much junk food- expect I had Dominos last night cos was too hungover to cook. I just make sure my diet is balanced really. I'm sure I could get better results really managing it, but I love food so I'm ****ed if I'm gonna limit my enjoyment of it!

Do you have much bread? Ive been having a few protein supplements during day to make up 7 meals but I want to cut them down now as they are giving me a belly I think. Have my three meals a day but need a few ideas on what I can eat instead of the supplements

Not too much - either eat butties or salads during he day, but don't really have anything bar crumpets at the weekend of that ilk & none in the evenings. Tend to think rice is the cleanest carb. Sweet potatoes are also ace.

Glad someone started this thread, as I need some help, and I'm hoping you guys could answer a few of my questions and possibly point me in the right direction..

I've been wanting to go to the gym for a long time now, but I've been put off going, because of my current stature, I don't feel comfortable going on my own and I know that everyone has to start somewhere. I have a gym buddy now, who's also a level 2 personal trainer which is pretty handy and he knows his stuff. I did a couple of workout with him last week which really helped my confidence and he has a good knowledge of the equipment in there, plus he's good at pushing you into getting those last reps out.

I'm 22, 6ft and I weigh approximately 10.5 to 11 stone. I play football to quite a high standard, and this is why I've never really been interested in going to the gym other than to keep in decent shape, never doing weight training to gain mainly just to maintain.

However I want to start putting more weight on, and getting a bit bigger. As you can probably imagine from my weight and height I'm pretty skinny.

I'm looking to try and build up a decent meal plan for myself, and was wondering if any of you guys have a meal plan you could share with me? or if you could give me any tips on what to eat meal wise etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
