Robo, what are your views on a break v deloading? Ive missed my first session in quite a while today. Usually go 5 times per week and do heavy lifting. Body feels like it needs a break but I actually feel worse for not going today
My mate's been in at me for ages to deload but I tended to just drive myself into the ground &' have to to take an enforced break through injury. First time I've really tried it & I trained really well when I went back to heavy today.
Idea is to keep the circulation going & stimulate the muscles but give the joints & tendons a rest. If you're mentally fatigued tho, you're as well having a complete break, but if you go and deload don't be dragged into lifting heavy - that's the problem I used to have.
Yeah I think Im mentally tired. I train at 6 am so up around 5am in the week. Just feeling it at the moment. Deloading i find hard because dont know how much to deload
Im more of a morning person. Never have any motivation in afternoons/evenings. Plus with two young kids, I feel they arent missing out if I go at the crack of dawn!
I was going to have this week off. Probably end up going back in tomorrow. It does become an addiction!!

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
Started on Sunday. Gotta trim about 12kg-15kgs. I'm at 75kg with a height of 5'3" and I felt disgusted the other day when I couldn't run at deep mid wicket when I was playing cricket after a long time.
Immediately decided to start the jogging/weights routine.
