Yeah it's a *******, makes walking agony when it's a really bad doesn't it? At least I walk without pain on my cunt of a knee. ****er still won't let me run more than a few miles without swelling up something stinko though. It's verrrrry gradually letting me go further, but I'm not sure I'm going to make a marathon I was planning for next spring.

The bit where you wake up having forgotten it's shot then hop out of bed in the morning never known pain like it!!!

Which marathon were you thinking about? De sables?
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Was thinking Brighton. No idea what the course is like though.

7km. Starting to feel some fitness creeping back in now although I can feel my Achilles playing up again slightly so I need to be careful.

Some tremendous mileage from Rowan, Saveloy and Carra there

There's nothing like a good old relationship break up to increase the mileage.

Feel free to add you mileage in this thread bacon, it can help keep you motivated.

Good luck if you do do that half marathon next month.

Started this stuff last week, pure grade creatine, no fillers. I have to say I'm very very impressed only after 1 week loading phase. Only 6.95 on Amazon too.

Sept 21st. The main goal is to complete it really. I'm hoping to do around 2:15 which is pretty slow by the standards of most on here but would feel great to me. No idea yet how training pace translates to race pace, particularly as I haven't run the full distance.

I've no doubt whatsoever you'll finish it!

I did one two months ago having done minimal training and the furthest I'd ran in the previous few months was 10km. I was really undercooked for it and still finished it in 2hr15. I'm sure you can beat that.
