I wasn't sick mate....I've got baby twins to look after lol. Barely got time to sleep never mind browse on here
Getting a bit easier now as they are sleeping more and feeding less during the night.
Did come German Volume Training for legs last night with my training partner.
70kg x 8 reps x 8 sets - alternating between us - without a break. I feel like I've been run over already lol.Cheers

Working the same muscle group two days in a row isn't a good idea right? If you'd worked your biceps properly the first day, you shouldn't be able to work them the next day.Originally posted by Subby View PostHitting legs again tonight, been doing biceps the last 2 days and need a break.
I tend to work each muscle group once a week, twice in a week max. Everything I've read has said that's the correct way to build muscle.
I did legs day yesterday by the way. Satisfyingly sore today

I did extreme isolation exercises for both bicep heads. Certain exercises to target both but each day a different head of the bicep. Then I take 4 days off then repeat again. Hmm I'm no expert but I'm still not sure you can isolate the heads of the biceps quite that well as to hit one and not use the other. Anyway, whatever works for you. I'm still a rank amateur at this!
I have just added an inch to my arms myself, it's taken about 5 months though. But that growth is definitely in the biceps and the triceps combined. The triceps are the bigger of the two muscles after all, so I wouldn't neglect them.
