Even the commentators being overly kind to Roger - he is not playing particularly well. I doubt they'd be so forgiving with any other player.

Anyone think Djokovic has taken it to a new level? Better than Rog and Nadal in their primes? He is superhuman. Probably a drug cheat

This is definitely next level shiz.

The shots he is pulling off and pressure being put on Fed is phenomenal.

Roger forced everyone to raise their level.

But he had some relatively simple Slam wins early in his career when he pretty much peerless. Then Nadal came along giving him his first great rivalry. Then Djokovic and latterly to a lesser extent Murray. What Djokovic is managing is huge levels of consistency with some formidable opponents around and that is very impressive and could lead to him being arguably the greatest of all time.

There was some chat the other day when Murray was playing Tomic that the attitude will be that Murray refuses to lose Tom someone like Tomic. And this was down to the amount of work that goes in off the court. The top 3 players (4 when Nadal was good) work harder off the court and prepare themselves better physically which is why we see such great tennis. The guys like Tomic etc don't.

It is a golden era for Tennis and the game is going to suffer hugely when these guys pack it in.

Can't see Fed winning 3 straight sets against Novak - but you never know. He did well to dig in and get a set back.
