    Thats not Nadals game though

Murray and Djokovic are such great returners. Nadal I think needs a couple of shots to get his main strengths into play (particularly on grass)

I dont think you can underestimate the advantage of a lefthanded serve also

Its massive even against a lefthanded player, it throws even lefties off

I am lefthanded and I much prefer playing righthanded players

It just seemed that after being unable to break serve for 13 games without even getting near a break point, he might want to mix it up a bit.

Gives Andy a decent chance of another Wimbledon final though. Just need Roger and Novak to have an Epic and for Andy to get there in 3 sets. Roger definitely wants one more Wimbledon title!

What cost him the match was the umpire overrule, he was on break point there with Muller on second serve, foibles of tennis once it'd been overruled pushed it back a first serve (don't agree with this rule) and he never really got back into it from then.

Muller deserved the win mind he played really well and his volleying at the net was also excellent along with his serve.

I do think its massively difficult though against a lefthanded player

I played doubles against one of the girls coaches the other month, absolutely nailed my first serve to the ad court out wide. From there on in the coach was hanging out wide waiting for that serve again but I just hit the centreline a few times and the moment he crept over that side I would go out wide again

One thing that does fascinate me is how much of an advantage it is but when righthanded players serve to the deuce court (to lefthanders) its not believed to be that much of an advantage because lefthanders have gotten use to dealing with that shot most of their life

Forgot about that. Was a good call by the umpire though. But yeah getting a first serve is a decent reward. Muller aced it didn't he?

Good to hear you are back playing Lec. Injury free? I've had back issues after my calf strain, on the plus side my tennis elbow has died down..!

I had a little setback last week or the week before (twisted my ankle slightly walking across the car park ), have rested it and should be ok for back end of this week or early next

I have had a new stringing set up put on my racket that takes away loads of the stress from the arm and gives you a massive amount of grip for producing tons of spin

I dont suffer too much from tennis elbow as I now have a doublehanded backhand and that takes a lot of the pressure away, I was really fortunate that the girls old coach gave me loads of tips to avoid stresses on joints (knees & elbows) it meant changing my game, grips, strokes but he clearly knew his stuff as it has helped massively. The ankle problem is probably the only thing you cant make an adjustment for

                      Think Djokovic will win

Hes one of the best returners in the game imo

                        Konta playing in the QF.

A break each in the first set.
                        Oh I don't know.

Konta loses the first set in a TB.

She's going to have to dig deep now.

Konta has had a few chances here but can't convert.

She good enough to win a slam, sh wants to get on with it before Serena returns though.

Massive, massive show of guts and determination from Konta to take the second set in the breaker.
