Watched some of the golf yesterday, last night. That’s a proper test - Major Championships should be won on 2 or 3 under IMO

Thing with his footwork is they move after he's already hit the ball. It has no impact on his strike. It's not textbook, but it works for him and he has it dialled in and has done for a long time.

He knows his swing. It looks broke, but it ain't, so don't fix it. Which when you look at guys like Hovland and Homa, that have great swings, but cant help but constantly tinker with it -despite being fantastic golfers and in good form at the time - and then see how much it's completely ****ed them the past two years

    He's just a golf powerhouse.

I'd be very surprised if he didnt go on to win double figures. He was playing so well last year until that stupid arrest at the PGA. I genuinely thing he was a chance to do all 4 majors in one year, that arrest totally rattled him and he never quite got his game back to where it was prior to the PGA. He still got close in the Open though.

His stats are off the charts over the past 4 years. Like absurdly good, except for putting.

    tee to green - 1st
    off the tee - 2nd
    approaches - 1st
    putting - 15th

If he works out that putter and can get say top 10 there, he is basically unbeatable.

Even this morning - looks like he's having a wobble, Rahm breathing down his neck and just goes back to his fundamentals and then puts a bit of space on the rest and watches them all completely **** up the 'green mile' trying to chase him down

Don't think get enough credit with how exceptional he really is because he doesn't hit the crazy 'glory' shots that guys like Tiger, Mcilroy, Rahm etc do. Nor does he have to hit the crazy recovery shots those guys have had to either. He's so good that he's boring

Would love to see him pick up the other two majors this year to just stamp his mark on how good his last 3 years have been.

Will go down in Masters history that shot. They'll be replaying that for a long long time.

I’ve got no idea how he rebooted to take on 18 again. He looked absolutely crushed when he missed the putt.

Then watching Rose hit a phenomenal second shot to give him a chance it just seemed like Rory wouldn’t be able to find the resilience to live with that. The shot he came up with was absolutely unreal given the pressure.

An absolutely insane few hours of gold it had absolutely everything.

Second shots into 15 & 17 have to be 2 of the best golf shots I have ever seen, shame about the weak putt that followed on 15.

That celebratory whisky at 12 is looking like a mistake. At least it was a half seven this morning.

That nearly ended me, might go down as one of the most dramatic last rounds in major golf. I nearly went to bed after the missed putt on 18 but I stuck at it…… grand slam and when you add The Players to it he really is in elite company
