The only other time that one glove is acceptable is at a Michael Jackson look-a-like competition

I’m very happy for him, a real down to earth guy and showed at the end of last year that he was ready to step into the next level. The course was also great because the big hitters couldn’t over power it. Rai who isn’t a big hitters plotted his way around and kept hitting fairways.

    V enjoyable major

1st Englishman to win the PGA in over 100 years and the 1st ever Asian of Punjabi descent to win a Major, only problem with him is the fact he’s a Man United fan.

So hard to call this but Rai playing superbly, driving the ball perfectly which is essential. Rory unable to get anything going

The justification seems to be that it's cheaper than the tickets at Bethpage last year.

It's obscene and for a sport that suffers with the image of exclusiveness that certainly won't help.

If some of those Scheffler putts had gone in (especially 17 ffs how did that not drop!?) or Rose hadn't duffed that chip and then missed that tap in it might be a different story now. Even Cam Young, dude got absolutely nothing from the course all day. He'd be gutted.

He got incredibly lucky on 18 to have that shot available. Most guys in those trees just play it out whatever way they can. His drive was so bad that it actually gave him an opening to get all the way to the bunker

Fair play to him though, he's obviously an all-time great, he has an amazing swing. I just don't like him, everything feels a bit fake and manufactured with him.
100% - last year Rose had an insane back 9 that would have challenged the nerve of most. But this year the moments when he and Scheffler could have tightened the screws they couldn’t. So in the end the two shot lead was enough to allow for that insane drive at 18. The overhead shot showing where he was and how far they had to move the crowd was wild was like one of my drives! I think th two shots meant he could have played out wherever and it seems to settle him.

Young was strange from the moment he got a 2 shot lead he literally didn’t sink another putt or even give himself an easy chance for a birdie.

I sort of know what you mean with the dislike, I have the same with Rose but the ups and downs in his game make him a great player to follow on a last day. Ultimately it was a breeze with him left a 6 inch putt FTW.

I'm delighted he has another green jacket. There were plenty of green jack paraphernalia yesterday in his hometown of Holywood which i was in yesterday myself. You'd have loved it.

Cam young got plenty of luck over his rounds. But Rose must be gutted alright, but i don't think its over for him, just yet.

Back to Rory, i've no idea how he can be so wayward off the tee and still get a major, even when he was flying he was all over the shop. It's lucky he's so long he can almost get away with concentrating on getting a good angle on the approach.

His tee shot at 18 shows that his nerves are still an issue but he built such a lead that even that horror show didn’t matter. If he can truly conquer his nerves then yep he has the capacity for a good few more. He’s not a robot and that makes him quite compelling.
