We always have a Rory drama at Augusta - he just can’t keep it simple Cam Young has had a few mad breaks off the trees today and he’s taken huge advantage

Watchibg the highlights of his round I think the signs were there yesterday that it wasn’t going to be plain sailing.

Maybe he’s getting his bad round out of the way a a day early??? But he was definitely not going to get the run he did with his short game 2 days in a row.

I don’t know if it’s “freedom” because he’s been in similar positions before but that was v impressive. Birdied 6 of the last 7 and I think he left a few out there due to poor wedge play. Biggest half way lead - let’s see how his head stays in the game

Only Niklaus, Tiger and Faldo have gone back to back

The thing is the scorecard is impressive, as is the 6 shot lead but he was, unbelievably, woeful off the tee. His short game was ridiculous. The fact he is 6 shots clear and could actually be playing better must be a bit concerning for the rest of the field.

Freddie Couples has been saying that Rory could win the next 4 or 5 as he's playing so stress free now.
