I used to play competitively in my teens and I walked off more than once. Me too. Snapped my 3 wood once when I was about 14/15. My old man was absolutely steaming. Never seen him so angry at me
Also got the yips one round on my short putts, completely ruining what could've been a cracking round. Near the final hole I missed another one and just walked up to the ball and ****ted it with my putter. Went about as far as a drive, absolutely smashed it. The old boy wasn't too impressed then either.
Had a wee bit of a temper as a lad which I'm sure surprises you.
