Xander's kicked on massively this year. Top 10 in all 4 majors and obviously won the two (that Open was absolutely brutal and he looked totally in control - despite the conditions the whole time) hasn't missed a cut and every time ive watched he always seems around the mark. Just a super efficient all-rounder. Rarely see him in trouble.
If Scottie could just sink putts he'd be on a complete other level though. His putting at the Open cost him a shot at winning it really. He handled the conditions pretty well tbh. But not being able to consistently sink putts kills him. It’s Scheffler as favorite and then after that there’s a load of lads who are close. Course experience matters hugely, I think Lowry, Adberg and Hovland could be decent each way bets and I’ve no idea how the LIV lads are going.Comment

Kid's playing well. That win the other week will have given him loads of confidence.
Can never count out Brooks or Rahm in a major either.
Love Niemann's game too. He didnt play well last year, but will have learned a lot and is in good form.

I stayed up - I thought going down 15 he was going to post -5 and he right in it. The chip can happen, playing back to the water on such fast greens requires laser precision and he isn’t the first to screw up. He over compensated on the next one and it’s an ugly 7. It’s the 6 on 17 that’s even worse!
He’s not out of it but it’s all on how Rose goes now. Lowry was solid as well so there is still some Irish interestComment
