If he ever tried to push through some of his deas he has to put them before a vote. He himself cannot limit the amount of teams from each league in the CL, he can only lobby for it because it goes to a vote. UEFA as a whole woud probably vote against it and his promise of allowing alot of the lesser clubs in the competition was only sone to gain votes. It's similar to a polotician offering to lower taxes in order to get votes. It never happens and all promises are proven to be false after the people in question get elected.

Plus the fact that now the biggest federation in football has a president who is merely a yes man to that joke blatter does not bode well for footie at all!

First I've heard of that, where did you get that from? If that's true then he really is a c-unit. His hairbrained plans for the CL are ludicrous and illogical, no one wants to see the best teams from England/Spain/Italy etc playing the champions of Lithuania, Switzerland and Kazakhstan all the time. Jesus, CL qualifying is dreary enough as it is - the CL should stay the same, with the best teams scrapping it out and if a minnow/lesser team is good enough they'll prove it, a la Monaco/Porto a few years back.
