      Wacker budget on 5.2 million shortened

      The FC Wacker Tirol delivered its Lizenzierungsunterlagen on Thursday with the federal league. Chairman Gerhard Stocker is confidently that it will not give a problem to 2007/08 with the license for the season, speaks however of a pure savings budget. The hope of the Innsbrucker is that further sponsors, who would have made already verbal promises will confirm these also in writing.

      Stocker drew a dark picture of the future of the Tiroler club on a press conference on Thursday. “Under these basic conditions the professional football in its present form does not have future”, said the chairman. With the Lizenzierung to day it came that there are problems with the liquidity. “Only to the statement: Wacker Tirol is not bankruptcy-endangered absolutely. But with the daily means we have problems.” Problems, which were covered always at short notice in former times by Stockers company Stasto.

      The total budget inclusive new generation and lady team for the coming season was down driven around 400.000 to 5.2 million euro. With the new budget also 300,000 of the 900,000 euro refuse dumps is to be erased. The budget for the combat crew had frozen in the past three years with 3.6 million euro, is to be possibly shortened for the coming season.

      Stocker stressed with the fact that with Innsbruck each contract is kept punctually on point and comma.
