Balls. My connection breaks again and by the time I get back online we've let in a goal in the 87th minute (scored aptly enough by Skoro) and it's full time.

    GAK 3-2 Wackerianer

    8' [1 - 0] P. Perchtold
    23' [2 - 0] R. Kollmann
    38' [2 - 1] D. Mimm
    62' [2 - 2] J. Brzeczek
    87' [3 - 2] A. Skoro

How very disappointing. Another abject defensive display in the first-half.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

And what makes it worse is that not one of you cares.

Sorry this one is so boring then.

              It's the schnitzel derby today.

Superfind at home next weekend. If we'd won yesterday we'd be two points behind them and they're second. As it is lose next weekend and we could be a point or two off the bottom, depending on results elsewhere.

              What a ludicrously small league.

I came to this thread hoping to find something to cheer me up.

                # Association Frame. Dif. P.
                1 RB Salzburg 23 34 50
                2 FC Superfund 23 3 34
                3 Mattersburg 23 -6 34
                4 Ried 23 1 29
                5 Wacker Tirol 23 -6 29
                6 GAK 23 -6 27
                7 SCR Altach 23 -8 27
                8 Rapid 22 -3 26
                9 Sturm 23 -5 26
                10 Austria 22 -4 22

Not good reading for us or Maestro.

Although it does reveal that for no obvious reason if you translate the Wacker website it changes FC Superfund to FC Superfind.

Yes, the wonderful Wacker website obeys only its own rules.

It's hard to look at the association frame after days like yesterday.

                      Poor old Maestro.

Mind you, it's only half-time, there's a long way to go yet. I seem to recall that Austria were 2-0 up at half-time last week and ended up drawing 2-2. Who was that against?

                        true that Neil
I like AV to be honest, since the day they played us at Anfield in 1984 in the European Cup. They were a very good side then.
Still 2-0 in the 60th minutes.

I actually have relatives who live in Vienna so by family ties maybe I should be following them. But Wacker is closer to where I live and has a better name.

                          Yup:
                          1-0, 6 minutes, M. Kiesenebner
                          2-0, 14minutes, D. Lafata
                          .

I urge you to read the report linked below into hooliganism in the Austrian game. We have an "ill-reputation" it seems, as have Rapid whose holigans are led by Inter-City Maestro).

The report is by "Police And Fans Together Against Hooliganism (In Football), or PAFTAH for short.

I wonder what the anti-homophobia group think of that name.
