    Fair play Paul Jewell (Resignation!)

I've always liked Jewell, he's an honest good manager. Doesn't make excuses and takes defeats with dignity.
He's saved his clubs twice now on the last day of the season with ridiculous victories, first time with Bradford at our expense and now with Wigan away at Sheff Utd. The Premiership is a better league with Paul Jewell in it.
    Well done Paul

Contrast with Warnock. No contest. Glad Jewell's still in the Prem.

What the hell is people's problem with Warnock today?

I accept there are lots of people who can't stand him - I like him, think he's great for the game and a passionate, honourable man - but what is the problem with his reaction today???

Sheff United have been relegated by ONE GOAL. One single goal. Not a point, not by a gulf in goal difference - just one, solitary goal. Warnock, as a true Blade, is today a broken man yet he reacted with dignity, admitted they've given poor goals away all season, pointed to a few key moments in the season, but ultimately accepted they weren't quite good enough.

                  Here's his interview.

To be fair my main problem with his whinging is that he has rested players all season against big clubs to prioritise the games against the teams at the bottom. His hypercritical attitude is incredibly annoying.

There was also no need for the sniping against us.

It's not just today but over a longer period of time. I sometimes think he gets flak when it isn't deserved and today the criticism has been disproportionate to any crime. However over a period of time he has bought it on himself.

He also stated that his hero was Trotsky, and has named his tortoise after him.

Plus I used to watch him in our reserve team when I was a kid.

                          I like him lots.

Well in Shags - I like Warnock because he's a real football man.
He sometimes lets his mouth run away with him, but nobody can doubt his passion for his club and football in general.
