i don't think he does, and he isn't on the team list on their website. If they did sign him though it woudl be on par with bringing Brian Dean over!

Geez you fella's are harsh.
The A-League is only new, and compared to what we had before it's fecking sensational. We used to only get around crowds of 5,000 to games, now that's quadrupled for most teams.
Melbourne especially, have massive crowds.
No rivalry? Load of toss.
Newcastle/Mariners is probably the biggest rivalry in the league, but Newcastle/Sydney is also strong as is Sydney/Melbourne and Melbourne/Adelaide.
John Aloisi is a big coup for the A-League, he'll forever be known by the Australian public because of the penalty he scored which took us to the World Cup.
It's only been two seasons, and you fellas are treating it like it's a piece of ****. The grand plan is to expand the league, and whilst it'll never rival the Premier League, it'll probably end up on par with the Championship.
Teams like Newcastle and Melbourne played some brilliant football last season, long may it continue.

And you just can't catch 'em when they do!
So it's Ning Nang Nong!
Cows go Bong!

Trees go Ping!

I was excited when they re-vamped the league but having been to see perth a few times i couldn't keep up the enthusiasm. i agree the quality is better than pre-A league (which i said before) but it still has a long way to go to make it exciting. I even get bored watching the games on tv. Unfortunately we need more clubs to be established to really get things moving but i don't think thats going to happen, australia is such a vast place. appreciate your comments though and good to see there is enthusiastic supporters following ozzie football.

Perth played probably the worst football in the league last season other than Sydney in terms of an 'attacking, free flowing' style.
Whilst you may not, i reckon it'll be a success.
Appreciate the reply.

This is a complete rubbish rumor. Lalas was on World Soccer Daily yesterday (over here) and was asked about this and he laughed and said 'No.' I have to say, its funny how when it comes to Americans , you'll believe anything as long as its the worst about us. Type a rumor on the main forum and people rubbish it immediately. Say it on here, say that Americans are all rich religious fanatics who know sweet FA about football, and everyone piles on.
That said, if I had the money, I would love to own a club! Who wouldn't??!"Our legacy begets an excellence that surpasses the particulars of who produces it." -- David Carr
