I do think Sheva would thrive on through balls from Xabi, Mascherano and Gerrard. But I'd rather go for someone younger and with more hunger, Sheva has nothing to prove really, he'll always be known as a great striker.
Huntelaar would be a decent shout i suppose

        Clever How ?

Come on, he has proven pre Chelsea he is one of the best forwards in the world. In my book he still is and just needs a run of games with a decent midfield behind him.
I make no apologies, this is me

I don't think we need a new striker even if we sell Crouch. Huntelaar is good but as I said, we really don't need another striker. Sign up an excellent left winger instead and play Babel upfront.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

That's another option. Which is easier to sign though? A good left winger or a 4th choice striker?
I'm not being difficult, I really cannot think of any decent left wingers who are available.

I disagree, we need another striker if Crouch goes and i would also like another winger Quaresma would be that spark we need very exciting player and i think Rafa could make me even better and not just have the tricks but a more all round winger.

yeah he looked absolutely finished as player when in 05/06 he won the golden boot in serie a and scored 9 in the champions league as well......

He should leave, his value has more than halved now I reckon. Would be good business for Milan if they got him back.

I reckon Mourinho would happily see him leave but Roman ain't having none of it...

If on the other hand I played up front - and second fiddle - for a team that goes long to the target man all the time leaving me to fight for the scraps - then I think I might lose confidence due to a lack of opportunities.

Sheva is a quality player - playing for the wrong team.

I saw MOTD on Sat night and Friedals save from Sheva was Dudekesque. Shame, Sheva does not have the managers confidence and is not trying to keep things simple, always trying to do somethin special everytime and it is not coming off.
