They deserve to be in the Euro's far more than England.

Yeah it's reasonable. But Scotland have beaten all expectations in a VERY hard group and just missed out, whilst England have bumbled there way through (almost).

But yeah, I guess if you get through then you deserve it, and if you don't you don't.

I dont mean to be harsh and i totally accept that given the nature of the respective tasks each of them had, Scotland did exceptionally well and that's an understatement, while england have barely done 'just enough'...

The qualification process IS harsh though unfortunately. Hopefully the Scots will have a good seeding for the WC qualifiers and get through to South Africa.

I didn't watch it...couldn't give a ****. Dismayed McClaren got lucky though. I just want to wipe that smug grin off his horrible face.

Scotland's "glorious failure" would be quite funny if I was bothered, but I'm not. Thought McLeish was magnanimous after the game and he's handled himself very well. Impressed with him.

...but in fairness do we not love when England fail in Major championships after "the whole country gets carried away with thinking that they are the best team in the world and this time will win".....but then they lose and get knocked out....its pure comedy and joy seeing them fail

Its all banter at the end of the day they want us to fail and we want them to fail cause they are full of themselves when it comes to England

Yeah but we and the other home nations don't big ourselves up to deluded heights, unlike England. Same goes for life in general, everyone likes to se vanity fail!

I generally like Engerland to go far so I have an interest but I want them to get beaten in the semi's so we won't be listening to them for 50 years.

Was watching Israel Russia the other day and it was a joke the way that **** Platt was going on. He was talking like the Israelis were actually English and the win didn't mean anything to them, only England!
