But a foreigner is probably what they need.
Scolari was perfect. Shame they ****ed it up.
But McLaren has done more to warrant the job than Redknapp who has never won anything and has never managed at the European level, plus McLaren had some experience already being Sven's #2.

All things considered, McLaren had a better CV than Redknapp.

On another note, how many bottles of water did McClaren drink today?

        I'd guess about 500.

Yes, at that time, but I was saying Redknapp would be the natural choice now, for an Englishman.

Plymouth are looking for a new manager. McClown?
                            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

What a ****ing fantastic, crazy game of football that was.

England always seem to do that - bore the ****ing pants off everyone all the way until the last game when it all goes crackers.

A truly shocking, lamentable performance that reflects so incredibly poorly on the hapless manager.

I must confess to cheering Crouchie's goal - what a superbly taken effort. He will be buzzing now and should start alongside Torres on Saturday. He's the only one tonight who can hold his head up.

As for "Stevie G" ....I feel sorry for him. Delighted he'll be getting a break but he was so incredibly poor once again. What happens to him in an England shirt? To have a player as magnificent as Gerrard, and for him to play so consistently badly, all boils down to the manager IMO. If he can't get Gerrard et al playing at anything like their normally high level, you've got no hope.

Close the door on your way out, Steve
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I think he has. He's never taken a team down like 'arry has.
