    On what basis?

Keegan managed a team which pushed for the title. His team was superb to watch.
He wasn't up to international management but he was a good premiership manager. Beter than McLaren IMO

Lippi or Capello should get the job. Two available world class managers.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

No, they bottled it, but they were under ridiculous pressure and whatever way you cut it, Scolari didn't accept the job.

          Who else was there?

            Yes, I suppose so.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I'm looking forward to a tournament without all the ****e that goes with an England campaign - the hype, the boring games, the oh-so predictable 'heartbreaking' exit, the flags in cars, the non-football fans who pretend they're experts.....

              Should be reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal nice.

More likely to be Maureen-o. With Lamps and Terry :whatever: in the team he'd love that job.

Many managers have managed teams that pushed for titles. At the end of the day he won nothing after spending potloads of cash.

Give me buckets of money and I'll have expensive players playing fabulous football, but we'll win nothing.

When it came to England he had to deal with what he had, no transfers, no clue. He admitted he was tactically inept and out of his depth for the job.

I want Mourinho at the job. He'd actually make me care somewhat about what's going on in the England team, despite being an annoying ****, he's funny and entertaining.

I found it mildly astonishing that he even gave a second's thought to getting his ****ing thinning hair wet. WHAT. A. TOOL.

**** the umbrella and do your job, YOU CRETIN!
