Villarreal won and now sit 7 points clear of Barca...so unless Barca somehow turn this around and win at Real Madrid, they'll have to play in the CL qualifiers next season...even a draw wont do, as Villarreal won both league encounters, giving them the edge in the head-to-head clashes.

It has been an excellent performance from an underprepared Madrid team who partied until the early hours of Monday morning. The gulf in class, confidence and general teamwork is easily identifiable as Madrid have dominated the game and penned Barcelona more times than not in their own half. The scoring started when the living legend Raul finished exquisitely from some good build up outside of the box. The lead was doubled when the on form Robben headed in a Guti free kick who had all the time in the world to find his spot. Ten Cate is in the studio looking pissed, maybe it was Avram Grant telling him about Ten Cate's lack of personality.

And to wonder, all the Scum fans and the media jizzing over the semi final victory. The Barcelona of today is a sorry excuse of the one that did the double two seasons ago. Players lacking heart, motivation, desire and letting the side down generally.
