Thanjk you.

Well Valencia won the Copa del Rey. So despite an embarrassingly poor season they will ensure Europe for next season. They really should be CL though. I still think that Koeman will get the sack regardless.
Almeria won 4-1 away against Sevilla and Betis 3-1 away against Atletico.
Who knows who will get fourth now? Even Almeria is in with a chance now.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
Blibao takes a 1 - 0 lead against Valencia. Valencia only two points away from the drop zone
And they've just won the Cup.
Have to say, if they went down and there was a fire sale of some of their top talent, you'd have to fancy bringing the likes of Villa and Silva to Anfield.
I hope that Rafa is still interested in Mata. Would be a fantastic signing. He has probably been the best Valencia player since Koeman gave him the chance.

Can I ask why players like Mata/Silva are taken as acceptable targets on here when they are in a relegation threatened team and are far from world beaters and scorn is put upon suggestions of players from teams lower down the PL? Even if they are immensely talented is it not reasonable to assume that their current position is not indicative of a fighting mentality, or is everyone convinced that Koeman is in fact the worlds worst manager (despite doing fairly good jobs in his last two/three posts).

Because people would like our team sheet to read like a pretentious food menu?

There are massive massive problems behind the scenes at valencia. Koeman is changing the whole set up and he doesn't seem to know how to assemble a balanced team. He plays too many attacking mids and his defense it just shocking. Most don't want to play for him as from early doors he upset everyone at the club with his terrible treatment of the most respected players(and most important in terms of leadership).
So to sum up, they have some real quality quality individuals but what use is that without good morale, team spirit, organisation and leadership.
The result at the weekend was a hangover from the cup ala spur's whipping at birmingham and Spain's league is so close that 1 win will move them to mid table ........
To sum up, they have some really top drawer attacking players, half of who will leave this summer
No doubt others have different opionins on the situation but that's my take and I'm getting a lot of this info from Ballague who knows all sorts of goings on in spain

Valencia are a club who are destroying themselves with the infighting. First the whole Rafa saga. When Rafa left they seem to have sorted themselves.
Then came the fight between their sports director and coach sanchez flores.
They sided with sanches flores and fired their sports director. Six months later they fired their manager. by that time, the whole squad was divided.
If Rafa left liverpool and went back to valencia he would walk the la liga and champions league with the squad they have now.
