I mean the quality through the whole league, and the individual quality of the players. It's far superior technically and I think if you put the 2 leagues together, there would be more spanish teams finishing in the top half than English teams.
I'd agree that our top 4 are better than their top 4 though but for me Barca are the best of the lot. From 4 -14 though there isn't a lot of difference in terms of quality of the teams, whereas, IMO there is quite a difference in the premiership as you move down the tableComment

Bolton beating Atletico Madrid's superstars would suggest otherwise, although I'd agree there are a lot of **** teams in the Prem.
By the same token, there are clearly a lot of **** teams in La Liga, too.
I don't think there's a deal in it - they both have their pros and cons - but really the only barometer you can use is the respective nations' performances in the CL, and English clubs continually outperform the Spanish ones.
I hate this Sky Sports "the best league in the world" ****e but at the moment you'd have to concede it probably is.
