Frank Lampard is almost certain to miss this weekend's title decider against Manchester United after the death of his mother.

Just hours after helping Chelsea to a combative draw at Liverpool, Lampard had returned to the bedside of his mother Pat. However, her health suddenly worsened and she passed away.

Pat was admitted to hospital 10 days ago when she was diagnosed to be suffering from pneumonia, but her condition had appeared to improve in recent days.

Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

That's terrible news. Football means **** compared to things like this.

Losing your mum is a horrible feeling. I feel for Lampard.

It’ll be a difficult time for the Redknapp family too, as Frank’s Mum was Harry Redknapp’s sister-in-law.
