At the end of the day with the clock ticking to midnight it'll come down to straight choice for Levy,Money in the bank from the Scum or Berbatov in the reserves cos if he wants to join United then he is under no pressure to even talk to City.United know this and are themselves under no pressure to increase their bid just cos City have bid more.

Were kidding oursleves if we think Berba will touch city with a barge pole when he could join the scum who offer the real chance of silverware and champions league football.

Its like us waiting on Owen to sign a few year back,we waited, didn't increase our offer and in the end Newcastle trumped us.We hoped the player would stick to his guns and say he'd only join us just but the mercenary didn't.I'd imagine Berba is saying he'll only join the scum,we'll see if he sticks to it

It is absolutely unbelievable. United have NO permission yet they're ****ing flaunting it all over SSN. Berbatov is now at the private hospital in Whalley Range, where United finalise all their medicals. How the **** do they get away with it? I hope to God Spurs refuse to deal with them and let him rot in the reserves. He obviously isn't interested in City.

Makes me so sad as that could have been us making big bids for players and having super rich people running the club. City are going to be massive next year and will break into the top for prob at the expense of us. I hate Moores and Parry even more now.

People seem to forget that this is not Everton that United are trying to **** over it is Spurs who do not need the money as they have plenty of it. I can see nothing happening tonight and him stuck at spurs.

**** knows mate, it's incredible and Utds arrogance is astounding. Even if Berbatov signs for Utd the FA should still get involved and ask why he was there when he didnt have permission. But unfortunately as we all know they just dont have the balls to go against Ferguson and Utd. Sad but not surprising.

He is under contract to Spurs he cannot sign for the scum without Spurs permission. If he is actually at the scum as reported, the FA will have to heavily discipline him and the the scum. A 30 point deduction would be enough

knowing the FA they'd probably give them 30 points

If Berbatov was at Melwood doing a medical without Spurs`s permission after being picked up at the Airport by Rafa Sky reporters would be saying the words "Tapping up" every 30 seconds.

BBC Radio 5 Live football reporter Nigel Adderley said that Berbatov being seen at United's training ground on Monday could be a potential cause of trouble for the Premier League champions.

In July, Spurs submitted a year's worth of evidence to the Premier League to support their complaint of Manchester United's "disgraceful" pursuit of Dimitar Berbatov.

"I understand Spurs haven't granted United permission to talk with with the player," he said.

"The only bid they have approved is from Manchester City, believed to be around £34m."

Not Berbatov but other transfer stuff. How ridiculous is this (if true)?

                            1944: POSSIBLE DEAL

West Ham and Sunderland are set to announce that left-back George McCartney has left Upton Park to rejoin his former club. The fee, I'm being told, is about £6m, which frankly sounds utterly ridiculous.

For £6m you could have Heather Mills-McCartney!

And she'd probably be a better player!

Sunderland are ridiculous. £8m for Ferdinand who is **** and £6m for McCartney who also very average. They have spent a ridiculous amount of money on average to poor footballers. I would love to see a list of signings and fees since Keane has taken over. Shambolic Business in my opinion
