Now THAT'S the game I know and love.
I went to see my local team on Saturday. We got in for less than a tenner, had some beers, stood behind the goal and had some great banter with the away fans.....and we go beat 5-0! But it felt like real football.

Maybe I getting old but don't know what the **** is happening to top flight football anymore, but it no longer resembles the game I grew up watching.

Midge said it was ironic it took a tottenham supporter to point it out but no...like you sir, we are FOOTBALL supporters.
The fans are the key. Refusal to spend money on increasing ticket prices and new satellite channel subscriptions. I've been going to Anfield since 1975 and this year I will only go to a few games. Next season, I might stop all together. It's not that I can't afford it - but because it's not worth the cost. The money ends up in two places, the owners (if they're lucky) and the players pockets.
Hasnt it always? Just too much of it now...
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

You still are not one of these corporate clubs. You are hanging in there.
The images of Shankly, Keegan & Toshack, The Kop in full voice on european cup nights...that sea of red pouring forward and the memories your club has given to millions like me. It's all still there. Don't wish it away too quick. Liverpool have something precious the other three don't have. A history they haven't sold down the river.

Be careful what you wish for...you might just get it.
In what respect have Arsenal and Man U sold their history down the river and Liverpool not?

                Great posts guys.

                Funny as ****.

                But true.

I wanna take Sisterstiff to a Champs League game but I somehow feel it would be a waste of a ticket.

NOOOO...not at all Midge mate. I was just saying that the bottom line is mate, we are all wanting the same thing regardless of which team we follow.

                      Excepting expectations that is!
