We have had more pennas this season than anyone else haven't we?
The opposition have finished with 10 men against us no less than 11 times.
These things happen. I have no doubt Webb et al are intimidated at Old Toilet and by Ferguson, but they aren't cheating, there are plenty of decisions they don't get (wembley).
Now i cant remember the Manc's games well, but we have benefited this season from mistakes and correct decisions. The Manc's ended up with 10 men and conceded a penalty against us, a cheating ref would have yellowed vidic. Lampard was sent off against us at Anfield. Mascher dived and we scored from the resultant free kick yesterday when we were playing poorly. It happens
The biggest question is, why did Spurs absolutely implode at 2-1? It was a pathetic embarrassing display and may have cost us the title. That or us drawing too many games.

I don't understand the relevance of this. You go through every single red card and every single ****ing one was justified. How this is an example of us being lucky is a mystery to me.Originally posted by Milan_Milan View PostWe have had more pennas this season than anyone else haven't we?

Granted we've had one or two soft pens - but soft pens and the disgrace we saw yesterday are poles apart. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Lampard's wasn't justified. And at a time we were struggling to win. It gave us the chance to open up Chelsea and we did thanks to Nando.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostI don't understand the relevance of this. I have no doubt that if that had been a Spurs player at 2-0 Webb MIGHT have waved it away, who knows? He gave it. Does it mean they're bribing referees? Hardly.
A lad (not friend
) i know who goes there was complaining that they have been turned down for a lot of penalties this year, but i don't suppose we hear about them.
If we'd have won more games we'd have won the league. That is what will happen next year and everyone will have forgotten about Spurs' horrendous capitulation yesterday.

You know what **** manchester united and **** fergie. Liverpool fc are playing the best football this season i have seen since 88/89. We have seen Rafa's Machine this season which he had a valencia. a new Right winger and partner for Torres this summer and next season will be even better. How ****ing funny will it be if we signs Tevez in the summer who imo would be perfect to play with torres and lets face it Mash will have a word with him.

I have thought for some time that the disallowed goal against Stoke at Anfield would cost us. It might still be the case.Seen that now. It was a definite free kick for Liverpool.Originally posted by souliv View PostFAO Craig H
Give it a rest they won move on
"Mascher's free kick win today was far from a good decision. Alonso scored. **** happens. Sometimes good, sometimes bad."
Mascher lost control of the ball and was going down. As he was he was kicked from behind by a Hull player. Same for the sending off to, though maybe that was more blatant and as such a red card was given. Either way you look at it, both decisions were correct.Forwards.......

No doubt.Originally posted by PC Plod View Post25 is mainly due to **** refereeing decisions mind.

My diplomatic stance is (and this may seem a bit excessive, but):
United deserve to win the title this year due to how many games they have won and we have let ourselves down too often at home. HOWEVER, if we buy 2 quality players in this summer in the right positions i think there's a chance we could go unbeaten in the league next year.
I am saving this quote to look smug in 12 months (everyone will forget if we dont
