0935: Manchester United have an agreement in place with Bordeaux to sign 20-year-old winger Gabriel Obertan, according the French club's president.
"It's actually a great possibility," said Jean-Louis Triaud. "United want him and we would be delighted to see Gabriel develop in such a club. We will make it official when the moment comes."Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I thought the reason he left was because he/his Mrs was homesick? why comeback? surely he could find another club in Spain?
Out of the teams interested Fulham would be the team i'd plump for, living in London (as opposed to Blackburn
) top manager in Hodgson and European football.
We come not to play.

I guess that the teams feel they can offer him a better package than comparable teams in Spain and he might be willing to give life in England a second chance. I would think of those teams Fulham as you say would be favourite as they offer everything you said and the fact they could argue (reasonably) that living in London would be a different experience.Originally posted by Imy View PostI thought the reason he left was because he/his Mrs was homesick? why comeback? surely he could find another club in Spain?

Apparently he's the new David N'gog! First they get one of our old boys in Owen and now a copy of one of our newer signings. Hmm shall we turn our desk away from ol whiskey nose? He appears to be copying our answers

Mancs are apparently signing Gabriel Obertan, 20-year old French forward/winger for £8m, a player who isn't a regular starter at Bordeaux and has been loaned out to Lorient, and even then failed to make an impression. He can do step overs though.
What an underwhelming signing that would be, after dreaming of Benzema and Ribery, they're getting two average players and a crocked has been on a free.
Edit: just noticed it's already been posted.

Jo back to Neverton on a season long loan.
Anybody else think that this is completely wrong that a Premiership team should be allowed to loan another Premiership’s team player?
In fact that a Premiership team should be allowed to loan any player full stop?
Shouldn’t loans be about the higher division teams loaning young/fringe players to teams in lower leagues for experience?
