Hopefully most of the fee will go towards interest payments.

Best case scenario is if ginsoak insists on getting all the money to spend, but the Glazers refuse and whiskey nose walks out because of it.

Mancs can't replace Ronaldo. Even with unlimited spending, they won't be able to improve their team by a lot. Ribery's the only man they can get who's close, but he's not going to England.

They are going to sign two wingers and probably a striker, but who can they possibly get? It looks like Valencia's going there, which is great because he's really average. They'll be lucky to have Ashley Young.

            Official on Manure website

RM have offered £80m and Utd have given Ronaldo permission to talk.

            Reds accept £80m Ronaldo bid

Manchester United have received a world-record, unconditional offer of £80million for Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

At Cristiano's request - who has again expressed his desire to leave - and after discussion with the player's representatives, United have agreed to give Real Madrid permission to talk to the player.

Matters are expected to be concluded by 30 June. The club will not comment until further notice.

                    Heard that. Very Gooood.

I mean utd may get 80-90mill to spend on players, although i hardly think Madrid will hand over the amount in full, but either way, they will lose Ronaldo, which is great.

Ok they can buy 2-3 maybe 5 top players, but none of them will be Ronaldo, he's touted as being as good as Torres & Messi, so there aren't too many of those players out there, the very top of the tree type players, so no matter how many great players he adds with the money, and every club will know utd have cash from the deal should it be completed, i don't think it will be as good as having Ronaldo, (as much as i hate him ), the fear factor alone gives them an advantage when he plays.

Unless, Rooney really steps up to the plate and becomes as good as Torres, Messi, Ronaldo that is, if that's possible, ok maybe not as good, but as effective then.

Wonder if Tevez will stay now.?

                    Wonder who they'll buy too.?

                    Ha Ha tossers.

Valencia looks quality - not in Ronaldo's class, but an excellent intelligent player nonetheless. I'd love him at Liverpool.

I think they'll make a serious run at Young form Aston Villa and will probably bring in someone like Benzema from Lyon. Damento is on record as saying Benzema is someone he'd like to sign.

I think that the payment is being made over 5 years.

Are agents fees etc included in the transfer fee or are they additional? Agents fees for this are expected to be 10% - £8m (nice work).

Don't forget the huge debt interest payments that the Glazers and Utd have to fork out each year. They may have less to spend than you think (hopefully!)

All I have to say is that Man Utd will become a very ordinary team overnight.

Our chances of winning the title next season have just received a massive boost. Believe.
