Wooohooooooo. Bye bye! They can try to replace him but no matter who they sign they just lost 50% of their team and they won't be able to fill that gap. ****in brilliant, Tevez and Ronaldo gone. They can sign Benzema and whoever else they like but their saviour is gone and its all downhill now

A statement on from Manchester United on Thursday morning read: "Manchester United have received a world-record, unconditional offer of £80million for Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.'
"At Cristiano's request - who has again expressed his desire to leave - and after discussion with the player's representatives, United have agreed to give Real Madrid permission to talk to the player.
"Matters are expected to be concluded by 30 June. The club will not comment until further notice."_____________________________________

I wonder what happens to Vidic? If he goes as well there might be some unrest in the changing room. Berbatov wasn't a very good buy, although not a disaster by any means, and Scholes and Giggs are on the wane.
Hopefully this will all end tits up for them
And hopefully these young Serbs will go the Nani way.

I know what you mean, and that's the thing, he can buy who he likes, if given the cash? and if they come, (except Torres and co obviously), but there will still be question marks, whereas i think Ronaldo has scored something like 70 goals alone over the last 2 seasons.Originally posted by Matt View PostThey can easily sign Silva and Villa with that fee and I'd hate that.

Ronaldo, Kaka, Higuain, Huntelaar, Sneijder, Raul and Robben not to mention Saviola, Van der Vaart, Nistelrooy, Diarra, Diarra, Gago, Guti, De la Red and Drenthe.Originally posted by REDrascal View PostImagine if these players they're buying really click for Madrid, ****in hell they have the potential to be awesome, IF, they look after all areas of the squad and not just the flair/attack minded positions.
That's the bulk of their midfield and attacking personel. Who will they shift out?* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I think this is the best possible news for them to be honest.
They will be able to buy 3-4 top class players which is about what they were short. If the money is spent well this summer then they will have a much stronger team then they had last year.
Their midfield was weak and was carried by Ronaldo this will allow them to strengthen the weakest part of the team which will mean the reliance on Ronaldo to be the difference in games will not be needed.
I just hope it takes time for their new players to settle.
