They have to replace Ronaldo, Tevez (probably), Giggs, Scholes, Hargreaves and Nani who's ****. Most of all they have to replace 40 goals from Ronaldo. I don't care how much money they get from Real Madrid, its an almost impossible job to replace him. He made the difference for them and now he's gone. Woohoooo. Berbatov is **** btw and Rooney doesn't score enough

Ironically enough, as well as Garay, Madrid have a young Uruguayan centre back called Gary who played the last game of the season.Originally posted by Neil Young View PostThat's how Mrs B says "Gary."
On other news, I'm delighted he's on his way, biggest **** on around. Although concerned where Man Utd will splash the money. Also concerned that they'll benefit from not having a prick like him in there squad to unsettle the dressing room. Ah well, I still think we'll be alright, hopefully. We can't be worse off anyhow.

how does selling your main goal threat and the person who won the title for them 2 years ago....and probably this season too, not constitute them being weaker next season?Originally posted by Matt View PostThere's no way they'll be a weaker team next season.
So what if they bring in Ribery, Silva or Villa they still have to settle and do you think they will score 20+ goals from Right mid? i dont
102 goals from tevez and Ronaldo the last 2 seasons.......thats some task to replace_____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?
Think we have the answer..Slot!!

I don't think there's any "of course" either way. Ronaldo wasn't as effective last season as the previous one. Man United have £80m (or at least a substantial chunk of it) to replace him. I rather think the deal doesn't come as a complete surprise to Ferguson - he might have been planning what to do for months. Perhaps he even wants to be rid of him (although I doubt that).
So it all depends on whether Ferguson can get in replacements who will strengthen them.
Change is inevitable - while consistency is useful, there is as much danger from stasis as from upheaval..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I have to say I will be made up if united lose Ronaldo - the guy is a cunt but he has been vital for them, it's like us losing torres or gerrard for £80m - great we've got £80m but who the **** do we bring in to replace him!
Firstly the only players i would be concerned about united signing would all appear to be unavailable - the likes of Gerrard, Torres, Ribery, Kaka, Messi etc etc - Now ok united have £80m too spend and i think as someone has mentioned above, with ronaldo going, and the likes of giggs/scholes career on the tail end and rumours that nani is off and hargreaves could be finished and they may even be losing tevez!!! ****ing hell £80m in the bank or not I'd rather be in our position right now than theirs!
Ok so they have the potential to strengthen their squad as a whole - but all of sudden the guy they earmarked for centre mid for £8m costs £12m, etc etc as clubs will want their slice of the £80m ronaldo fee.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do
